I am a creative professional transitioning to applied artificial intelligence.
With over 10 years of experience in digital content creation, video production, animation, photography, live streaming, social media management, and visual storytelling, I have led teams and produced high-impact multimedia for The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” Grand Rapids Art Museum, and independent clients. My background includes brand storytelling, analytics-driven campaigns, and the creation of visual content that engages diverse audiences.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Cinema, and Animation from Grand Valley State University and a Campaign Management certificate from American University.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Grand Valley State University, with coursework in AI fundamentals, machine learning, and data mining. My primary focus is applied computer vision, including image and video processing, deep learning for visual tasks, generative networks, and AI-enhanced creative workflows.
As a medically retired U.S. Army veteran utilizing VR&E benefits, I am eager to combine my multimedia expertise with AI to create value across industries such as media and entertainment, automotive (autonomous systems, inspection, safety), and healthcare (medical imaging, diagnostics). I am particularly interested in developing ethical, human-centered visual AI solutions.
I am open to summer 2026 opportunities, including internships, research, collaborations, or freelance work, at the intersection of creativity and technology. Please reach out if you are working on innovative visual intelligence projects.
